Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Paul, the writer of this book, was called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through Your will.

 

Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

 

1-Corinthians 1: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your church consists of those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, and who call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the Lord Jesus Christ is Lord of us all.

 

Lord God, cause Jesus Christ to be my Lord.

 

Lord God, sanctify me in Christ Jesus.

 

Lord God, call me to be a saint.

 

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

 

1-Corinthians 1: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your greeting, for us to have grace and peace.

 

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

1-Corinthians 1: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your grace is given to us by Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the writer of this book thanked You on behalf of those who have received Your grace.

 

Lord God, I thank You on behalf of others, for Your grace that was given to them by Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, I thank You for Your grace given to me by Your Son, Jesus Christ.

 

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

 

1-Corinthians 1: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that is every thing, we are able to be enriched by Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, thank You for this prayer, that is every thing, I should be enriched by Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, cause me to be enriched in all things, by Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, cause me to be enriched in all utterance, by Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, cause me to be enriched in all knowledge, by Jesus Christ.

 

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the testimony of Christ is able to be confirmed in us.

 

Lord God, cause the testimony of Christ to be confirmed in me.

 

Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that as we are enriched in all things through Jesus Christ, and the testimony of Christ is confirmed in us, we are able to not lack in gifts waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, cause me to not lack in gifts, waiting for the coming of my Lord Jesus Christ.

 

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

 

1-Corinthians 1: 7

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Jesus Christ is able to confirm us until the end.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when Jesus Christ confirms us until the end, we are able to be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, cause Jesus Christ to confirm me until the end.

 

Lord God, cause Jesus Christ's confirming me unto the end, to result in me being blameless in the day of my Lord Jesus Christ.

 

Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

1-Corinthians 1: 8

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are faithful.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You call Your children to the fellowship of Your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your faithfulness.

 

Lord God, thank You for calling me to fellowship with Your Son, Jesus Christ my Lord.

 

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

 

1 Corinthians 1: 9

 

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who perish.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the preaching of the cross is Your power to those of us which are saved.

 

Lord God, cause me to be saved.

 

Lord God, cause me to believe that the cross is preached by Your power.

 

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

 

1-Corinthians 1: 18

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

 

Lord God, cause me to rely on Your wisdom and understanding, and not on my own.

 

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

 

1-Corinthians 1: 19

 

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

 

1-Corinthians 1: 20

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that by the worlds wisdom, we are not able to know You.

 

Lord God, thank you for Your truth that through preaching, You save them that believe.

 

Lord God, thank You for providing preachers, that can bring salvation to those who believe.

 

Lord God, cause me to receive preaching, that is unto my salvation.

 

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

 

1-Corinthians 1: 21

 

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

 

1-Corinthians 1: 22

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Christ crucified is a stumblingblock to the Jews.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Christ crucified is foolishness to those who are not Jews.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, to those who are called, Christ is Your power, and Your wisdom.

 

Lord God, cause me to be called, and to see Christ as Your power and Your wisdom.

 

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

 

1-Corinthians 1: 23-24

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the foolishness of God is wiser than men.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the weakness of God is stronger than men.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand the importance of, Your foolishness is wiser than men.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand the importance of, Your weakness is wiser than men.

 

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that not many wise men after the flesh are called.

Lord God, cause me to be one of those who You call.

Lord God, do not let me be confounded by the world's wisdom, worthless wealth and might, but fill me with the wisdom and substance that comes from You.

 

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Lord God, thank You for truth, that Your wisdom was ordained before the world, and is for us to honor.

 

Lord God, thank You for ordaining hidden wisdom in a mystery, even before the world was created.

 

Thank You for revealing Your mystery at the proper time, and for allowing me to partake in Your glory.

 

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

 

1-Corinthians 2: 7

 

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

 

1-Corinthians 2: 8

 

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

 

1-Corinthians 2: 10

 

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are the one who gave us Your Spirit.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that through Your Spirit, we are able to know the things that You freely give to us.

 

Lord God, thank You for giving me Your spirit, so I can know the things You are willing to freely give me.

 

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

 

1-Corinthians 2: 12

 

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

 

1-Corinthians 2: 13

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the natural man does not receive the things of Your Spirit.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the things of Your Spirit are foolishness to the natural man.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth that the natural man can not know the things of Your Spirit, because they are spiritually discerned.

 

Lord God, give me spiritual discernment, and cause me to receive and know the things of Your Spirit.

 

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

 

1-Corinthians 2: 14

 

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

 

1-Corinthians 2: 15

 

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

Lord God, thank You for truth, that no man can lay a foundation other than the foundation that has already been laid, which is Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, thank You for gifting to mankind the only foundation that can be built on, which is Jesus Christ.

 

Lord God, cause me to build my foundation on Jesus Christ.

 

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

 

1-Corinthians 3: 11

 

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

 

1-Corinthians 3: 12

 

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

 

1-Corinthians 3: 13

 

If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

 

1-Corinthians 3: 14

 

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Lord God, thank You for truth, that we are able to be Your temple.

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;  Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;  And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to glorify You in our body and spirit.

 

Lord, thank You for Your truth, that when our body is a temple for Your Holy Spirit, our body and our spirit are yours.

 

Lord God, place Your Holy Spirit in me, and make my body a temple of the Holy Ghost.

 

Lord God, thank You for paying the price to purchase me.

 

Lord God, take ownership of my body and my spirit.

 

Lord God, cause me to glorify You in my body and my spirit.

For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

Lord God, thank You for Your truth that when we sin in front of our Christian brethren, and wound their conscience, it is a sin against Christ.

Lord, cause me to seek, and to be given spiritual gifts, that will build up Your church.

Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if Christ is not risen, then then the writer of this letter would be a false witness of You, because he has testified that You raised up Christ, who you have not raised up, and if that were the case, then the dead do not rise.

 

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not raised.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that after those in Christ are made alive, the end will come, where Christ will deliver up Your kingdom to You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when Christ delivers up Your kingdom to You, he will have put down all rule, and all authority, and all power.

 

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

 

1-Corinthians 15: 24

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Christ must reign until he puts all enemies under his feet.

 

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the last enemy to be destroyed will be death.

 

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

 

1-Corinthians 15: 26

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that although Christ will put everything under his feet, You are the exception, and You are the One who put all things under Him.

 

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

Lord God, our Father, thank You for Your truth, that when all things are subdued unto Your Son, then the Son himself will be subject to You, who put all things under him, that You may be all in all.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when our corruptible bodies, are put into a state of incorruption, and our mortal bodies have put on immortality, then it will have been brought to pass what was written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

 

Lord God, cause what was written regarding, Death is swallowed up in victory, to refer to what happens with my corruptible and mortal, changing to incorruptible and immortal, at the last trump.

 

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who You change their corruptible to incorruptible, and their mortal to immortal, can say, "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

 

Lord God, let me be able to say, "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" after the sounding of the last trump.
