arrow_up_1     Chapter 1

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2-Thessalonians 2: 1-2

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

2-Thessalonians 1: 3

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:

2-Thessalonians 1: 4

Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

2-Thessalonians 1: 5

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that it is a righteous thing for You to repay affliction to those who endure affliction for Your sake.

Lord God, cause me to have a heart that forgives wrongs done against me.

Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

2-Thessalonians 1: 6

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

2-Thessalonians 1: 7-9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, he is coming to be glorified in his saints.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, he is coming to be admired in all them that believe.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, he will be glorified, and marveled at, by those who believed the testimony that was spoken of him.

Lord God, cause me to believe when true testimony is spoken of Christ, so when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, I may glorify him, and marvel at him.

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

2-Thessalonians 1: 10

Lord God, thank You for having others constantly pray for me.

Lord God, cause me to counted worthy of my calling.

Lord God, by Your power, cause me to fulfill every good purpose.

Lord God, by Your power, cause me to fulfill every act prompted by my faith.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:

2-Thessalonians 1: 11

That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

2-Thessalonians 1: 12

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our brethren are beloved of You.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our brethren were chosen by You to salvation, from the beginning.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our salvation comes by way of sanctification of the Spirit, and belief of the truth.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are bound to give thanks to You for our brethren.

But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2-Thessalonians 2: 13

Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2-Thessalonians 2: 14

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our Lord Jesus, and You our Father, have loved us.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our Lord Jesus, and You our Father, given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our Lord Jesus, and You our Father, are able to comfort our hearts.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our Lord Jesus, and You our Father, are able to establish us in every good word.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our Lord Jesus, and You our Father, are able to establish us in every good work.

Lord God, thank You for giving me hope through grace, in the gospel that Your word proclaims.

Lord God, comfort me, establish my speech, and guide me so I can do Your work and be pleasing to You.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

2-Thessalonians 2: 16-17

arrow_up_1     Chapter 3

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to pray for our brethren in Christ, that Your word would have free course, and be glorified.

Lord God, cause your word to have free course in others, and be glorified.

Lord God, cause your word to have free course in me, and be glorified.

Lord God, cause Your word to spread rapidly to those who serve You, and cause Your word to be honored.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

2-Thessalonians 3: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to deliver us from unreasonable and wicked men.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that not all men have faith.

Lord God, cause me to have faith.

Lord God, deliver me from unreasonable and wicked men.

And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are faithful.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to strengthen us, and guard us from the evil one.

Lord God, cause me to trust in You.

Lord God, strengthen me and guard me from the evil one.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

2-Thessalonians 3: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when You touch us, we are able to do, and will do the things commanded of us.

Lord God, touch me, change my heart.

Lord God, cause me to be able to do, and to do the things commanded of me.

Lord God, thank You for giving confidence to myself and others, that I am able, and will do the things commanded of me.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

Lord God, cause me to patiently wait for Christ.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to withdraw from those who walk disorderly, and not after the tradition they have received from Your gospel.

Lord God, cause me to withdraw from those who walk disorderly, and not after the tradition they have received from Your gospel.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
