Lord God, thank You for creating light, and for allowing me to view Your glorious creation.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You breathed into man's nostrils the breath of life.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when You breathed into man's nostrils the breath of life, man became a living soul.

 

Lord God, thank You for giving me Your breath of life, bringing my soul forth from the dust of the ground.

 

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

 

Genesis 2: 7

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You said, It is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helper suitable for him.

 

Lord God, thank You for not wanting man to be alone, and for making a helper suitable for him.

 

Lord God, thank You for making us male and female.

 

And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

 

Genesis 2: 18

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Enoch fathered sons and daughters.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Enoch's days were 365 years.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Enoch's walked with You, and was not, for You took him.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You saw the imagination of man's thoughts, of his heart, was only evil continually.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it repented You that You had made man on earth, and it grieved You at Your heart.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Noah found grace in Your eyes.

 

Lord God, thank You for allowing Noah to find grace in Your eyes.

 

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.  And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

 

Genesis 6: 5-8

Lord God, thank You for Your promise that while the earth remains, there will continue to be seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night.

 

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You made a covenant between Yourself and Noah, and every living creature of all flesh; that the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your testimony of the rainbow, and for Your promised remembrance of the covenant You established between Yourself and all flesh that is on the earth.

 

Lord God, cause me to view the rainbow as a token of the covenant You made, that the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

 

And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

 

Genesis 9: 12-17

Lord, thank You for extending the generations of men, after the flood, through Noah's sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You promised Abram that You would bless them that bless him.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You promised Abram that You would curse them that curses him.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You promised Abram, that in him would all the families of the earth be blessed.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your promises to Abram, later to be called Abraham.

 

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

 

Genesis 12: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You appeared to Abram and said, Unto Your seed will I give this land, and there Abram built an alter to You.

 

And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

Lord, cause my believe in the LORD, and count it to me for righteousness.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You changed Abram's name to Abraham.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You made Abraham a father of many nations.

 

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

 

Genesis 17: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You promised to make Abraham exceedingly fruitful.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You promised to make nations of Abraham, and that kings would come out of him.

 

Lord God, thank You for keeping Your promises.

 

And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.

 

Genesis 17: 6

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You promised Abram that You would establish Your covenant between Yourself and him, and Abram's seed after him in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to him, and to his seed after him.

 

Lord, thank You for establishing Your covenant with Abram and his seed after him in their generations, as an everlasting covenant, to be a God to him and his offspring after him.

 

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when Lot, his wife, and two daughters were taken out of the city, they were told to escape for their life, to not look behind them, to not stay in the plain, but escape to the mountain, or else they would be consumed.

 

And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

 

Genesis 19: 17

 

And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Lot's wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand that disobedience can result in being consumed.

 

Lord God, cause me to be obedient.
