Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Philippians 1: 6

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Paul's prayer was for the love of his brethren in Christ, to abound more and more in knowledge and all judgments.

Lord God, give me a heart to pray for other believers, that their love would abound more and more in knowledge and all judgments.

Lord God, cause my love to abound more and more in knowledge and all judgments.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

Philippians 1: 9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Paul's prayer was for his brethren in Christ, to approve things that are excellent, be sincere, and be without offense until the day of Christ.

Philippians 1: 11

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is not always important what a person's motive for preaching Christ is, as long as the true message of Christ is being preached.

Lord God, when the true message of Christ is being preached, cause me to rejoice, without regarding the motive of the speaker.

What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

Lord God, cause me to magnify Christ in my body, both in life and through my death.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, Paul was not able to choose between living in the flesh and achieving fruitful labor, or to depart and be with Christ, which he felt was far better.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that while I live in the flesh, I can achieve fruitful labor, but it is also a desirable thing to depart and be with Christ.

But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

Philippians 1: 24-25

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we may be able to rejoice more abundantly in Jesus Christ, because Your servants were left to abide on earth to minister to others.

Lord God, cause me rejoice more abundantly in Jesus Christ, by Your servants who are here ministering to me.

That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

Lord God, cause me to accept suffering on Christ's behalf, and to expect suffering by those who believe on him.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Philippians 1: 29

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the sufferings that are given us for Your sake, are not new or uncommon.

Lord God, cause me to accept sufferings given me for Your sake, as common to those who believe in Christ.

Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Lord God, as You have instructed me to be like mind with Your Son, place in my heart to be of no reputation, to take the form of a servant, being humble, and obedient, even unto death.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Lord God, cause me to consider my need of salvation, and to seek Your work in me to accomplish it.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to work in us, causing us to both desire and also to do of Your good pleasure.

Lord God, do Your work in me, creating in me a desire, and also causing me to do of Your good pleasure.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that by doing all things without murmuring and disputing, we can shine as lights in the world.

Lord God, create in me a heart to do Your will, joyfully, without arguing or complaining. As Your child, cause me to be blameless and harmless, and shine as a light in this world.

For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

Philippians 2: 21

But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.

Philippians 2: 22

Philippians 2: 23

But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

Lord God, please have mercy on me when I call on You for help.

For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

Philippians 2: 27

I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, to beware of evil workers.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Philippians 3: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Jesus Christ, and have no confidence in the flesh, are the circumcision.

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that if any man was able to have confidence in the flesh, it would have been Paul.

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that if any man was able to have confidence in the flesh, it would have been Paul.

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that even though Paul may have been able to trust in the flesh more than any other man, he counted those things as a loss for Christ.

Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

Philippians 3: 4-7

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that Paul counted everything in his life a loss, except for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, his Lord.

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that Paul felt like he had suffered a loss of all things, and now counted them as worthless, so that he would win Christ.

Lord God, cause me to not value anything in my life, more than I value Christ.

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Philippians 3: 8

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that if we were able to have our own righteousness, it would be through the law.

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that it is better to be found in Christ, having the faith of Christ, which is the righteousness offered by God through faith.

Lord God, cause me to be found in Christ, with the faith of Christ, having received the righteousness offered by God through faith.

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Lord God, cause me to know the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection.

Lord God, cause me to have fellowship in Jesus Christ's sufferings.

Lord God, cause me to become like Jesus Christ in his death.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

Philippians 3: 10

Lord God, thank you for Your truth, that we should desire to attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Lord God, cause me to be the person you choose, to attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Philippians 3: 11

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should not consider that we have already been made perfect.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should not consider that we ever were perfect.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should press forward to lay hold on that, for which we were  laid hold on by Christ Jesus.

Lord God, cause me to understand that I have not been made perfect yet.

Lord God, cause me to understand that I need to press forward, that I might lay hold on that, for which I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3: 12

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should not consider that our work is done, and that we should stop striving to seek Your will in our lives.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should forget those things in our past that we are not able to change.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should reach forward to do those things that are placed before us.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should press forward toward the mark, for the prize of Your high calling in Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3: 13-14

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Philippians 3: 15-16

Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Philippians 3: 17

(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Philippians 3: 18-19

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that your children our citizens of heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Christ will change Your children's vile bodies, to be fashioned like his glorious body.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your Son Jesus Christ, has the power to make all things subject to himself.

Lord God, grant me citizenship, and cause my conversations to be as if I am already in heaven.

Lord God, in Your perfect timing, cause Your Son to fashion my vile body into a glorious body.

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Philippians 3: 20-21

Lord God, thank You for Your promise that if we are not anxious for anything, but we let our requests be known to You in everything through prayer, earnest requests, and expressed thankfulness, Your peace, which passes all understanding, will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Lord God, cause me to rely on You for everything, and to not be anxious for anything.

Lord God, keep me always mindful of things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, and those things that have virtue or deserve praise.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Lord God, cause me to do what you have taught, given, spoken, and shown through Paul the Apostle.

Lord God, cause Your peace to be with me.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Philippians 4: 9

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Philippians 4: 10

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should be content in whatever state we are in.

Lord God, cause me to be content, in whatever state I am in.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Philippians 4: 11

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Philippians 4: 12

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Paul could do all things through Christ which strengthened him.

Lord God, cause Christ to strengthen me, to be able to do all things.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Philippians 4: 13

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

Philippians 4: 14

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

Philippians 4: 15

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

Philippians 4: 16

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Philippians 4: 17

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

Philippians 4: 18

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Lord God, supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Lord God, thank You for supplying all my needs.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus

Philippians 4: 19

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are our Father.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You possess glory for ever and ever.

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Philippians 4: 20

Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

Philippians 4: 21

All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.

Philippians 4: 22

Lord God, thank You for Paul's exhortation, that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us.

Lord God, cause the grace of my Lord Jesus Christ to be with me.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Philippians 4: 23
