Lord God, although counsel tells me to flee, cause me to put my trust in You.

 

In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

 

Psalm 11: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the wicked bend their bow, and make their arrow ready on the string, that they may secretly shoot at the upright in heart.

 

Lord God, cause me to be upright in heart, and look to You for safety.

 

For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

 

Psalm 11: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if the foundations are destroyed, the righteous are helpless.

 

Lord God, cause me to be righteous, and to have a strong foundation.

 

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

 

Psalm 11: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are in Your holy temple.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your throne is in heaven.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are beholding, examining, and testing, the men of this earth.

 

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

 

Psalm 11: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You try the righteous.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, You hate those who are wicked and who love violence.

 

Lord God, cause me to be righteous, and try me.

 

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

 

Psalm 11: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will rain coals, fire, and burning sulfur on the wicked.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a burning wind upon the wicked will be their portion.

 

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

 

Psalm 11: 6

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are righteous, and You love righteousness.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the upright will see Your face.

 

Lord God, cause me to be upright, and to behold Your face.

 

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that sometimes it might seem like the faithful fail among the children of men.

 

Lord God, help!

 

Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

 

Psalm 12: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it may seem like everyone speaks worthless things to their neighbors.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it may seem like everyone speaks with flattering lips and with a double heart

 

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

 

Psalm 12: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will cut off all flattering lips.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will cut off all tongues that speak proud things.

 

Lord God, cause me not to use flattery, or speak proud words.

 

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

 

Psalm 12: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will cut off all flattering lips, tongues that speak proud things, saying, We will prevail, our lips are our own. Who is Lord over us?"

 

Lord God, cause me to control my speech, to not speak proud things, and to know that You are Lord over me.

 

Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

 

Psalm 12: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will arise for the oppression of the poor.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will arise for the sighing of the needy.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will set the oppressed and needy in a safe place against those who are arrogant towards them.

 

Lord God, thank You for hearing the sighs of the needy, seeing the oppression of the poor, and for placing those who long for it, in a safe place.

 

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

 

Psalm 12: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your words are pure, as silver tried in a furnace of earth seven times.

 

Lord God, cause me to hear, understand, and act on Your words.

 

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

 

Psalm 12: 6

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will be keeper of the poor and needy, and will preserve them from this generation, for ever

 

Lord God, protect the oppressed, and needy, preserving them from this generation for ever.

 

Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

 

Psalm 12: 7

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the wicked are everywhere, and the wickedest of men are exalted.

 

Lord God, cause me to be righteous, and preserve me, as the wicked wander everywhere, and evil men are exalted.

 

The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that sometimes it might feel like You have forgotten about us, or You are hiding Your face from us.

 

Lord God, cause me to not feel like I am forgotten, or like You are hiding Your face from me.

 

How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

 

Psalm 13: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that sometimes it is troubling, and we have sorrow in our hearts, when our enemies are exalted over us.

 

Lord God, cause me to have hope, and to know You are in control, when my enemies are exalted over me.

 

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

 

Psalm 13: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that sometimes it feels like unless You give us understanding, we will not be able to go on.

 

Lord God, enlighten my mind, give me courage, and hope.

 

Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

 

Psalm 13: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if You do not protect us, our enemies would be able to boast of our defeat, and rejoice in our trouble.

 

Lord God, do not allow my enemies to say they have defeated me, or let those who trouble me rejoice.

 

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

 

Psalm 13: 4

Lord God, cause me to trust in Your mercy, and my heart to rejoice in Your salvation.

 

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

 

Psalm 13: 5

Lord God, cause me to sing to You, because You have dealt bountifully with me.

 

I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that fools say in their heart, there is no God.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that fools who say there is no God, are corrupt

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that fools who say there is no God, have done abominable works.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that fools who say there is no God, are unable to do good.

 

Lord God, cause me to not be foolish, and believe there is no God.

 

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

 

Psalm 14: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You have looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that understood, and who seek You.

 

Lord God, cause me to have understanding, and to seek You.

 

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

 

Psalm 14: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that looking down from heaven at the children of men, You found they had all turned aside, became corrupt, and do not do what is good.

 

Lord God, cause me to not turn aside, become corrupt, or not do what is good.

 

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

 

Psalm 14: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that workers of iniquity have no knowledge, and do not call upon Your name.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that workers of iniquity eat up Your people, as they would eat bread.

 

Lord God, keep me from being a worker of iniquity, from devouring Your people, and from not calling on You.

 

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

 

Psalm 14: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if evildoers understood that You are with those who are righteous, they would be terrified.

 

Lord God, cause me to be righteous, and for those who do evil to fear You.

 

There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

 

Psalm 14: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that wicked people who trouble the poor are put to shame, because you are a refuge for the afflicted.

 

Lord God, cause me to receive refuge in You, and be kept from the schemes of those who plot evil.

 

Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

 

Psalm 14: 6

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Israel's deliverance will come out of Zion.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will restore the fortunes of Your people.

 

Lord God, cause Your salvation for Israel to come out of Zion, and let Jacob rejoice, and let Israel be glad.

 

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Lord God, thank You for answering the question in this Psalm, of who will abide in Your tabernacle, and who will dwell on Your holy hill.

 

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

 

Psalm 15: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who walk uprightly, work righteousness, and speak the truth in their hearts, will abide in Your tabernacle, and will dwell on Your holy hill.

 

Lord God,  cause me to walk uprightly, work righteousness, and speak the truth in my heart.

 

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

 

Psalm 15: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who do not gossip, do not do evil to their neighbor, and do not take up reproach against their neighbor, will abide in Your tabernacle, and will dwell on Your holy hill.

 

Lord God, cause me to not gossip, to not do evil, and to not take up reproach against my neighbor.

 

He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

 

Psalm 15: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who despise the wicked, but who honor those that fear You, and are faithful to their oaths, even when they are not to their benefit, will abide in Your tabernacle, and will dwell on Your holy hill.

 

Lord God, cause me to despise those who are wicked, give honor to those who fear You, and to be faithful to my oaths, even if it is not to my benefit.

 

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

 

Psalm 15: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who do not put their money out to usury, and do not accept a bribe against the innocent, will abide in Your tabernacle, and will dwell on Your holy hill.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who walk uprightly, work righteousness, speak truth in their hearts, do not gossip, do not do evil to their neighbor, do not take up reproach against their neighbor, and who honor their oaths even when it is not to their benefit, will stand firmly and be upheld by You.

 

Lord God, cause me to walk uprightly, work righteousness, speak truth in my heart, to not gossip, to not do evil towards my neighbor, to not take up reproach against my neighbor, and to honor my oaths even when they are not to my benefit.

 

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

 

Psalm 15: 5

Lord God, watch over me and keep me safe, I have put my trust in You.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are my Lord, and I do not have anything You have need of.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that anything good that I possess, I have been given from You.

 

Lord God, cause me to extend Your goodness to the saints who are on earth, as they are glorious and I delight in them.

 

O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

 

Psalm 16: 2-3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the sorrows of those who run after other gods, will be multiplied.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we should not take part in sacrifices to other gods, and we should not have fellowship with those who practice the worship of other gods.

 

Lord God, cause me to not hasten after other gods, from taking part in the worship of other gods, and from fellowship with those who worship other gods.

 

Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

 

Psalm 16: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are my chosen portion, and my cup.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You make our inheritance secure.

 

Lord God, You are my lot, my cup of blessings, and You make my inheritance secure.

 

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

 

Psalm 16: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You have divided my inheritance in pleasant places.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that I have a beautiful inheritance.

 

Lord God, with You as my portion, my soul can rest, as I have a beautiful inheritance.

 

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

 

Psalm 16: 6

Lord God, cause me to receive Your counsel.

 

Lord God, cause me to praise, worship, and exalt You.

 

Lord God, cause my mind to be stayed on You, and my heart to be led by You, even in the night.

 

I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

Lord God, by the words of Your lips, keep me from the paths of the destroyer.

 

Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

 

Psalm 17: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to hold our feet to Your paths.

 

Lord God, please keep my feet from slipping, so I may continue down the righteous path You have laid out for me.

 

Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

Lord God, incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that by Your right hand You save those who put their trust in You, from those who rise up against them.

Psalm 17: 7

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can make someone the apple of Your eye.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can keep someone under the shadow of Your wings.

 

Lord God, cause me to be the apple of Your eye.

 

Lord God, cause me to be hidden under the shadow of Your wings.

 

Lord God, protect me from the wicked who wish to oppress me, and from my deadly enemies that surround me.

Psalm 17: 8-9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there are wicked who become proud in their prosperity.

 

Lord God, cause me to not be prideful of what things I have, but to be humble and serve You.

 

They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.

 

Psalm 17: 10

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there are wicked who track us as if we were prey.

 

Lord God, cause me to be protected from the wicked who wish to harm me.

 

They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

 

Psalm 17: 11

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there are wicked who pursue others as a lion that is greedy for his prey, or as a young lion lurking in secret places.

 

Lord God, cause me to be protected from the wicked who pursue me.

 

Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

 

Psalm 17: 12

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can disappoint and cast down the wicked.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can deliver my soul from the wicked.

 

Lord God, disappoint and cast down the wicked who surround me.

 

Lord God, deliver my soul from the wicked.

 

Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

 

Psalm 17: 13

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to use the wicked to correct the righteous.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the wicked men of this world, who pursue others, have their portion in this life.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You sometimes provide in abundance for wicked men of this world, and their children.

 

Lord God, cause me to be delivered from the wicked men of this world.

 

From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

 

Psalm 17: 14

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that unlike the wicked, the righteous will behold Your face.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that unlike the wicked, the righteous will awake with Your likeness.

 

Lord God, cause me to one day behold Your face in righteousness.

 

Lord God, cause me to one day awake, with Your likeness.

 

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Lord God, cause me to trust in You as my shield, my high tower, and my salvation.

 

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

 

Psalm 18: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are worthy to be praised.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who call on You, may be saved from their enemies.

 

Lord God, cause me to call on You, and be saved from my enemies.

 

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

 

Psalm 18: 3

Lord God, thank You for illustrating of the troubles, and dangers, that encompassed the writer of this Psalm, when he needed Your divine deliverance.

 

Lord God, hear my call, if cords of death are wrapped around me.

 

Lord God, hear my call, if floods of ungodly men terrify me.

 

Lord God, hear my call, if the cords of the grave entangle me.

 

Lord God, hear my call, if the snares of death come upon me.

 

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.

 

Psalm 18: 4-5

Lord God, thank You for illustrating the hearing of a call, and of a cry, when one who feared You called on You in his distress.

 

Lord God, thank You for hearing the call, and cry, of Your servant.

 

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

 

Psalm 18: 6

Lord God, thank You for illustrating the the deliverance of one who feared You, and who called on You in his distress.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when You are angry, You may make the earth tremble, and the foundations of the mountains shake.

 

Lord God, thank You for shaking and trembling the earth, and moving and shaking the foundations of the earth, because of Your wroth.

 

Lord God, thank You for delivering Your servant, who called, and cried to You.

 

Lord God, deliver me, when I call and cry to You in my distress.

 

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

 

Psalm 18: 7

 

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.  He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.  And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.  He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.  At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.  The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.  Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.  Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

 

Psalm 18: 8-15

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You reached down from above, and took hold of Your servant, and saved him from deep waters.

 

Lord God, when I call and cry to You in my distress, reach down from heaven and take hold of me, and save me from my trouble.

 

He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

 

Psalm 18: 16

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You delivered Your servant from his strong enemies, and from those who hated him.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You delivered Your servant from those who were too mighty for him.

 

Lord God, when I call and cry to You in my distress, deliver me from my strong enemies, from those who hate me, and those who are too strong for me.

 

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that our enemies may confront us on the day of calamity.

 

Lord God, be my support, if my enemy should confront me in a day of distress.

 

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that to the pure, You will show Yourself pure.

Lord God, cause me to be pure.

 

Lord God, cause me to not be headstrong in disobedience.

 

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will save the afflicted.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will bring down prideful looks.

 

Lord God, save me in my afflictions.

 

Lord God, cause me to be humble.

 

For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can light our candles.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that by You we are able to run against a troop.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your way is perfect.

Lord God, cause me to trust in You.

 

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to teach our hands to war.

Lord God, train my hands for battle.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can give the shield of salvation.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can enable us to pursue our enemies, and overtake them.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can enable us to not turn away, until are enemies are consumed.

 

Lord God, make me able to pursue my enemies, overtake them, and not turn back until they are consumed.

 

I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

 

Psalm 18: 37

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can enable us to wound our enemies, so they are not able to rise.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can cause our enemies to fall under our feet.

 

Lord God, make me able to wound my enemies so they are not able to rise, and cause them to fall under my feet.

 

I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can equip us with strength for battle.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can subdue our enemies beneath us.

 

Lord God, equip me with strength for battle, and subdue my adversaries beneath me.

 

For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You can give up the necks of our enemies, so we can destroy those who hate us..

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is possible for our enemies to cry, and have no one to save them.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to deliver us from our enemies.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to lift us above those who rise up against us.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that when You deliver us from our enemies, lift us up above those who rise up against us, and deliver us from violent men, we should give thanks to You among the heathen, and sing praises to Your name.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Lord God, cause every nation to know of You, by what Your creation says about You.

 

Lord God, cause me to know of You, in everything I see, and everywhere I go.

 

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

 

Psalm 19: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You have set a tabernacle for the sun.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the sun is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the sun rejoices as a strong man running a race.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand that at night the sun is hidden, as if in a tent.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand that the sun appears as a bridegroom coming out of His Chamber, shining forth gloriously on the earth.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand that the sun is like a strong man, conscious and confident of it's own strength.

 

Lord God, cause me to see Your glory when the sun rises, bringing forth its light, and powerfully traveling across the sky.

 

In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

 

Psalm 19: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the sun goes from one side of the sky to the other.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the sun journeys to the ends of the earth.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there is nothing hidden from the sun's heat.

 

Lord God, cause me to understand knowledge through Your creation.

 

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your law is perfect.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your law is able to convert the soul.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your testimony is sure.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your testimony is able to make wise the simple.

 

Lord God, cause Your law to convert my soul.

 

Lord God, cause Your testimonies to make me wise.

 

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your statutes are right.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your statutes are able to rejoice the heart.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your commandments are pure.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your commandments are able to enlighten the eyes.

 

Lord God, cause Your statutes to rejoice my heart.

 

Lord God, cause Your commandments to enlighten my eyes.

 

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

 

Psalm 19: 8

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the fear of You is clean.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the fear of You endures forever.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your judgments are true.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your judgments are altogether righteous.

 

Lord God, cause me to fear You.

 

Lord God, cause me to take heed of Your judgments.

 

The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

 

Psalm 19: 9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your judgments are to be desired more than fine gold.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your judgments are sweeter than honey.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your judgments are sweeter than a honeycomb.

 

Lord God, cause me to crave for Your judgments, more than choice candy.

 

More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

 

Psalm 19: 10

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that through Your judgments, we are able to receive warnings.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that in keeping Your judgments, there is great reward.

 

Lord God, cause me to heed the warnings given by Your judgments.

 

Lord God, cause me to keep Your judgments.

 

Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

 

Psalm 19: 11

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are not always able to understand our own errors.

 

Lord God, cause me to be cleansed of my secret faults.

 

Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

 

Psalm 19: 12

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is possible for intentional sin to have dominion over us.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if intentional sin does not have dominion over us, we are able to be upright.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that if intentional sin does not have dominion over us, we are able to be innocent of a great number of transgressions.

 

Lord God, cause deliberate sin to not have dominion over me.

 

Lord God, cause me to be upright, and innocent of the many transgressions that may have overtaken me.

 

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good for the words of our mouth to be acceptable in Your sight.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good for the meditations of our heart to be acceptable in Your sight.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to be our strength.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to be our redeemer.

 

Lord God, cause the words of my mouth to be acceptable in Your sight.

 

Lord God, cause the meditations of my heart to be acceptable in Your sight.

 

Lord God, be my strength.

 

Lord God, be my redeemer.

 

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to grant us what our heart's desire.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to fulfill our counsels.

 

Lord God, grant my heart's desires.

 

Lord God, fulfill my purposes.

 

Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.

 

Psalm 20: 4

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good to rejoice in others salvation.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good to set up banners in Your name.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to fulfill all of our petitions.

 

Lord God, cause me to rejoice in the salvation of others.

 

Lord God, cause me to lift up their banners in Your name.

 

Lord God, fulfill all of my petitions.

 

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You save Your anointed.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to hear Your anointed from Your holy heaven.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to respond with the saving strength of Your right hand.

 

Lord God, give me an anointing, and a purpose.

 

Lord God, hear me from Your holy heaven.

 

Lord God, respond to me with the saving strength of Your right hand.

 

Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

 

Psalm 20: 6

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that some trust in chariots, and others in horses, but it is better to remember Your name, the name of the Lord our God.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who trust in chariots, and horses, will be brought to their knees and will fall.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who remember Your name, the name of the Lord our God, will rise and stand upright.

 

Lord God, cause me to not trust in the strength of an army.

 

Lord God, cause me to trust in Your name, the name of the Lord, my God.

 

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

 

Psalm 20: 7-8

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to protect the head of our nation.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to cause the head of our nation to hear our call.

 

Lord God, protect the head of our nation.

 

Lord God, cause the head of our nation to answer us when we call.

 

Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
