Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You gave king David joy in Your Strength.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that king David greatly rejoiced in Your Salvation.

 

Lord God, cause me to receive joy in Your strength, and greatly rejoice in Your salvation.

 

The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

 

Psalm 21: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You gave king David his heart's desire.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You satisfied the request of king David's lips.

 

Lord God, cause me to learn from these writings of King David.

 

Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

 

Psalm 21: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You welcomed king David with blessings of goodness.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You set a crown of pure gold on his king David's head.

 

Lord God, cause me to draw closer to You, and delight in Your blessings of goodness.

 

For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to give life, to those who ask.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to give life for ever to those who ask.

 

Lord God, cause me to have life, and to have it for ever.

 

He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that salvation can bestow great glory.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that you are able to lay honor on us.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that you are able to lay majesty on us.

 

Lord God, cause me to have honor, and majesty, if it would help me draw closer to You .

 

Lord God, cause me to have great glory in Your salvation.

Psalm 21: 5

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You made king David, most blessed for ever.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You made king David exceedingly glad with Your presence.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that king David trusted in You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that because of Your mercy, king David was not able to be moved.

Lord God, cause me to be able to stand fast.

 

For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You caused king David to not be outwitted by his enemies.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You gave king David the ability to overpower his enemies.

 

Lord God, cause me to not be outwitted by my enemies.

 

Lord God, give me Your strength to overpower my enemies.

 

Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

 

Psalm 21: 8

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You gave king David the ability to quickly defeat his enemies.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You swallowed up king David's enemies in Your wrath.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that fire was ordained to devour the enemies of Your anointed king.

 

Lord God, give me Your strength against my enemies.

 

Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

 

Psalm 21: 9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You gave king David instruction to destroy the fruits of the wicked, from the earth.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You gave king David instruction to destroy the wicked's seed, from among the children of men.

 

Lord God, cause the fruits of the wicked to be destroyed from the earth.

 

Lord God, cause the root and the branch of the wicked to be destroyed.

 

Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

 

Psalm 21: 10

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the wicked are to be destroyed, because they have plotted evil things.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the wicked are to be destroyed, because they have devised wicked schemes.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that the wicked are guilty of devising wicked schemes, even if they are not able to perform them.

 

Lord God, keep me from plotting evil.

 

Lord God, keep me from devising wicked schemes, even if I am not able to perform them.

 

For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

 

Psalm 21: 11

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that you enabled king David to make his enemies turn their backs and flee, as if a volley of arrows about to be discharged in their faces.

 

Lord God, cause my enemies to be turned from me quickly.

 

Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

 

Psalm 21: 12

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are exalted in Your own strength.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good to sing and praise Your power.

 

Lord God, cause me to sing, and praise, Your power.

 

Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

Lord God, thank You for this verse that can be applied to Your Son, Jesus Christ, which expresses not His real, but His esteemed value.

Lord God, I will have praises of You in the congregation, and before those who fear You, I will fulfill my vows.

Lord God, teach me meekness, and provide for my substance, so I may eat and be satisfied. As I seek You, cause my praise of You to follow, and let my heart live forever.

Lord God, cause me to remember You, and turn to You. Together with people from all nations, hear my worship before You.

Lord God, thank You for the truth that the kingdom is Yours, and You are the governor among nations.

 

For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.

Lord God, through Your provisions, you sustain me as I worship You. Those who are brought down to the dust will kneel before You, as no one can keep himself alive.

 

All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will kneel before him-- those who cannot keep themselves alive.

Lord God, cause my offspring to serve You, and let future generations be told about You.

 

Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord.

Lord God, thank You for Your promise, that Your righteousness will be proclaimed to future generations.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are able to receive a blessing from You.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are able to receive righteousness from You, if You are the God of our salvation.

 

Lord God, cause me to seek You, seek Your face, and to find You.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your secret is with them that fear You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You will show Your covenant to those who fear You.

 

Lord God, cause me to fear You, so You will show me Your covenant, and I can possess Your secret.

 

Lord God, cause Your secret to be with me.

 

Lord God, show me Your covenant.

 

The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

 

Psalm 25: 14

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good for our eyes to always be towards You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those whose eyes are always towards You, will have their feet plucked out of the net.

 

Lord God, cause my eyes to always be directed towards You.

 

Lord God, release my feet from the snare.

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

 

Psalm 30: 11

Lord my God, cause me to sing praises to You and not be silent, I will give thank to You for ever.

 

Lord my God, cause me to give thank to You for ever.

 

Lord my God, as long as my glory can sing praises to You and not be silent, I will give thank to You for ever.

 

Lord my God, thank You for allowing me the opportunity to worship You.

 

To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
