Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that it is good for us to put our trust in You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to keep us from confusion.

 

Lord God, cause me to take refuge in You.

 

Lord God, keep me from being disgraced.

 

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

 

Psalm 71: 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to deliver us in Your righteousness.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that through Your deliverance in righteousness, we are able to escape our trouble.

 

Lord God, listen for my prayer, and save me.

 

Lord God, deliver me in Your righteousness, and cause me to escape my trouble.

 

Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

 

Psalm 71: 2

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to be our strong habitation.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are able to continually take refuge in You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to give a commandment to save us.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to be our rock and fortress.

 

Lord God, be my strong habitation.

 

Lord God, cause me to continually take refuge in You.

 

Lord God, please give a commandment to save me.

 

Lord God, be my rock and fortress.

 

Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

 

Psalm 71: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to deliver us out of the hand of the wicked.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are able to deliver us out of the hand of unrighteous men.

 

Lord God, deliver me out of the hand of the wicked.

 

Lord God, deliver me out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

 

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

 

Psalm 71: 4

Lord God, You are my hope, and the one I have trusted from my youth.

 

For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

 

Psalm 71: 5

Lord God, You have sustained me from the time I was born, and my praise will always be of You.

 

By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee.

 

Psalm 71 :6

Lord God, although people may look, and marvel at me, You are my strong refuge.

 

I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

 

Psalm 71: 7

Lord God, cause my mouth to be filled with Your praise, and honoring to You all day long.

 

Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.

 

Psalm 71: 8

Lord God, do not cast me away when I get old, or forsake me when my strength fails.

 

Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

 

Psalm 71: 9

Lord God, do not cast me away or forsake me, as my enemies speak against me. They who seek my life take counsel together, saying, You have forsaken me, and wanting to harm me say, persecute and take him,  there is none to deliver him.

 

For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,  Saying, God hath forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

 

Psalm 71: 10-11

Lord God, do not be far from me, come quickly to help me.

 

O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

 

Psalm 71: 12

Lord God, let the adversaries of my soul perish in shame, and let those seek my harm, be covered with scorn and disgrace.

 

Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

 

Psalm 71: 13

Lord God, cause me to continually have hope, and to praise You more and more.

 

But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.

 

Psalm 71: 14

Lord God, cause my mouth will speak of Your righteousness, and of Your salvation all day long, for your deeds are too numerous for me to know.

 

My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

 

Psalm 71: 15

Lord God, cause me to carry on in Your strength, and proclaim Your righteousness, and Yours alone.

 

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

 

Psalm 71: 16

Lord God, from my youth You have been my teacher, and I continue to proclaim Your wondrous works.

 

O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.

 

Psalm 71: 17

Lord God, when I grow old, do not forsake me until I have proclaimed Your strength to the next generation, and Your power to all those who are to come.

 

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

 

Psalm 71: 18

Lord God, Your righteousness reaches the heavens, and you have done great things. There is none like You.

 

Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee!

 

Psalm 71: 19

Lord God, You have allowed me to suffer hardship and trouble, but You shall revive me, and lift me up from the depths of the earth.

 

Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

 

Psalm 71: 20

Lord God, increase my honor, and comfort me on every matter.

 

Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

 

Psalm 71: 21

Lord God, I will praise You with melody, for Your faithfulness, O God, I will praise You with a song.

 

I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.

 

Psalm 71: 22

Lord God, cause my lips to rejoice when I sing to You, my soul also, which You have redeemed.

 

My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

 

Psalm 71: 23

Lord God, cause me to speak of Your righteousness all day long, for those wanted to harm me, have been put to shame, and disappointed.

 

My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

 

Psalm 71: 24

Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.

 

Psalm 72: 1

 

He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.

 

Psalm 72: 2

 

He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

 

Psalm 72: 4

Lord God, deliver the needy when they cry, and also deliver the poor, and the one who has no helper.

 

For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.

 

Psalm 72: 12

 

His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

 

Psalm 72: 17

 

Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

 

Psalm 72: 18

 

And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Lord God, keep me out of slippery places, and do not let my foot slip, or be cast into destruction.

 

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

Lord God, guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

 

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Lord God, my flesh and my heart fail, but You are the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

 

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

 

Psalm 73: 26

Lord God, those who are far from You will perish, and You will destroy those who are unfaithful.

 

For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

 

Psalm 73: 27

Lord God, it is good for me to draw near You, put my trust in You, and declare all Your works.

 

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Lord God, how long will the enemy mock You? Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?

 

O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

 

Psalm 74: 10

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are a King of old

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are our King of old

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You work salvation throughout the earth.

 

For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.

 

Psalm 74: 12

 

Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.

Lord God, I give You thanks, for Your works declare You are near.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

 

Psalm 75: 2

 

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

 

Psalm 75: 3

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are the judge.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are the judge that puts one down, and sets another one up.

 

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

 

Psalm 75: 7

 

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You alone are to be feared.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that no one can stand in Your sight when You are angry.

 

Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

 

Psalm 76: 7

Lord God, You break the spirit of rulers, and the kings of the earth fear You.

 

He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

Lord God, when I cried to You with my voice, You listened to me.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

 

Psalm 77: 3

 

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?  Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?  Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.  And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

 

Psalm 77: 7-10

Lord God, I will remember Your works, and I will remember Your wonders from times of old.

 

I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

 

Psalm 77: 11

Lord God, I will meditate on all Your works, and will talk of all You do.

 

I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Lord God, let me hear Your law, and cause me to incline my ears to the words of Your mouth.

Lord God, cause me to set my hope in You, not forget Your works, and keep Your commandments.

 

That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

Lord God, You are my salvation. For the glory of Your name, deliver me, and purge away my sin, for Your name's sake.

 

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

Lord God, do not let the heathen say, "Where is their God?" Be known among the heathen in our sight, but avenging the wrongs done to Your servants.

 

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.

 

Psalm 79: 10

Lord God, hear the sighing of prisoners, and with Your greatness of power, preserve those that are appointed to die.

 

Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;

Lord God, let Your people give thanks to You forever, and show forth Your praise to all generations.

 

So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.

Lord God, so I will not turn away from You, revive me, and I will call on Your name.

 

So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

 

Psalm 80: 18

Lord God, restore me, and let Your face shine on me, so I may be saved.

 

Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
