Lord God, when I cry out to You, be quick to hear me.

 

Lord God, when I cry to You, please listen to my plea.

 

LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

 

Psalm 141: 1

Lord God, let my prayer come before You as incense, and the lifting of my hands as an evening sacrifice.

 

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

 

Psalm 141: 2

Lord God, keep watch over my mouth, and be the door keeper of my lips.

 

Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

 

Psalm 141: 3

 

Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.

Lord God, let me pour out my complaint before You, let me show You my trouble.

 

I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

 

Psalm 142: 2

 

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

 

Psalm 142: 4-6

 

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead. Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands. I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

 

Psalm 143: 5-6

 

Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

 

Psalm 143: 7

Lord God, cause me to recognize Your loving kindness each day, for I trust in You. Guide my steps and cause me to walk where You want me to walk, for I lift up my soul to You.

 

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

 

Psalm 143: 8

 

Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.

 

Psalm 143: 9

 

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble. And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

Lord God, You are my strength, You train me for war, and my fingers for battle.

 

Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:

Lord God, You are my goodness, my fortress, and my high tower.  You are my deliverer, and my shield in whom I trust, who subdues people under me.

 

My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

 

Psalm 144: 2

Lord God, what am I that You care for me, and what am I that You think of me.

 

LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!

 

Psalm 144: 3

Lord God, keep me mindful, that my life on earth is like a shadow that passes away.

 

Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

 

Psalm 144: 4

 

I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.

 

Psalm 144: 9

Lord God, it is You that gives salvation to rulers, and who delivered Your servant David, from the deadly sword.

 

It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.

 

Psalm 144: 10

Lord God, I am happy, because You are my God, and my LORD.

 

Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Psalm 145: 8

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You are good to all.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that Your tender mercies are over all Your works.

 

Lord God, thank You for being good to all.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your tender mercies that are over all Your works.

 

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

 

Psalm 145: 9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that all Your works shall praise You.

Lord God, cause me to witness Your works that praise You.

Psalm 145: 10

 

They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;  To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

Psalm 145: 20

Lord God, help fill my mouth with praises of you. Cause all people to see You as the one who blesses all, and give them many reasons and the desire to praise Your holy name.

 

My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Psalm 146: 2

 

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

Lord God,  thank You for Your truth, that You cover the heaven with clouds.

 

Lord God,  thank You for Your truth, that You give the earth rain.

 

Lord God,  thank You for Your truth, that You make grass grow on the mountains.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You give food to the cattle, and to the young ravens who cry.

 

Lord God, thank You for placing the clouds in the sky.

 

Lord God, thank You for making it rain upon the earth .

 

Lord God, thank You for making the grass grow on the mountains.

 

Lord God, thank You for providing food for the beasts, and birds of the earth.

 

Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.

 

Psalm 147: 8-9

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You do not take pleasure in the strength of a horse.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You do not take pleasure in the legs of a man.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You take pleasure in those who fear You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You take pleasure in those who hope in Your mercy.

 

Lord God, cause me to fear You, and to hope in Your mercy.

 

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

 

Psalm 147: 10-11

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, for Jerusalem to praise You.

 

Lord God, thank You for Your instruction, for Zion to praise You, their God.

 

Lord God, cause Jerusalem and Zion to praise You, as You are their God.

 

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that You send Your commandments upon the earth.
