arrow_up_1     Chapter 1

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a son should honor his father.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that a servant should honor his master.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who call You father, do not all give You honor.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who call You master, do not all fear You.

Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that there are priests who despise Your name, but claim to not know it.

Lord God, cause me to honor You as a son honers his father.

Lord God, cause me to fear and honor You, as a servant honors his master.

Lord, cause me to exalt and highly esteem Your name.

A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

Malachi 1: 6

For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 1: 11

But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.

Malachi 1: 14

arrow_up_1     Chapter 2

And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.  My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.  The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

Malachi 2: 4-6

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Malachi 2: 10

Lord God, keep my thoughts, and do not allow me to say that evil doers are good in Your sight, or that You delight in them.  Do not allow me to believe, that Your judgment will not come on the wicked.

Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

Malachi 2: 17

arrow_up_1     Chapter 3

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 3: 1

But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:  And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Malachi 3: 1-3

For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Malachi 3: 6

Lord God, when I am not seeking You, light my path and guide me to seek You. When I stumble, let me be restored quickly, and keep my heart focused on You and Your ordinances.

Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

Malachi 3: 7

Lord God, cause me to think of You and proclaim Your greatness and Your mercy. Find me in Your book of remembrance, and on that day, consider me as a jewel, and spare me as you would a son who serves You.

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Malachi 3: 16-17

arrow_up_1     Chapter 4

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Malachi 4: 1

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Malachi 4: 2

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Malachi 4: 3

Lord God, help me study, and cause me to understand the law of Moses, with Your statutes and judgments.

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Malachi 4: 4
